Our Services

DENTAL PROCEDURES
- Whitening
A simple and effective procedure to lighten dark or stained teeth. Teeth are whitened by professionally supervised at-home treatments or through an accelerated process in our office.
- Laser Dentistry
We utilize a laser. It is a Waterlase MD YSGG Laser. The laser has many wonderful and incredible uses. In many cases, teeth can be filled without local anesthetic. Soft tissue treatment is more efficient and healing is faster and less traumatic.
- Bonding
Chipped, stained, or worn teeth are restored with the application of a tooth-colored composite bonding resin. This may be an alternative to porcelain veneers in certain instances. We do not and have not used dental amalgam (silver fillings) in 12 years.
- Crowns
There are types of Crowns - full-gold, porcelain fused to gold, all porcelain. These restorations are used to correct severe tooth decay, cracked teeth, misaligned teeth, or root canal treated teeth. Crowns are a lab-processed restoration and provide a correct and stable occlusion (bite) as well as enhanced esthetics (with porcelain or porcelain fused to gold).
- Bridges
Generally made of porcelain fused to gold, fixed-bridges are used to replace missing teeth, where there are existing adjacent teeth to support the fixed-bridge. Fixed bridges are cemented and are not removable. A better alternative to fixed-bridges are dental implants.

- Partials or Dentures
Partial-dentures and full-dentures are used to replace many missing teeth or all missing teeth. These are removable appliances and restore function and esthetics. Dental Implants are a better alternative to partial-dentures or full-dentures. Dental implant can be utilized in conjunction with partial denture and full dentures to increase stability and give the patient a better sense of security. Replacement teeth are fixed into the resin in a fashion that resembles the original dentition as natural as possible.
- Geriatric (elderly) Dentistry
As we get older, the oral environment goes through significant changes. In many cases medication will affect the oral environment adversely. Resistance to decay and periodontal disease may become compromised. We have a number of different modalities to combat these changes and to combat the results of these changes. Certainly education, proper and regular home care and professional care are of utmost importance at this time.
- Implants
Dental implants are an excellent alternative to bridges, partials, and dentures. Implants replace one missing tooth or many missing teeth. The implants are surgically placed by a maxio-facial surgeon. Once the implants are placed, the surrounding bone, over time, fuses to the implant surface (Osseo integration). Following Osseo integration, crowns or bridges are attached to the implants. The replacement of teeth by implants is so reliable that it is, in most cases, considered the first choice over a fixed bridge, a removable partial, or a denture. Implants will give the patient a lifetime of service simulating real teeth.
- Pediatric (children's) Dentistry
We do treat children and our goal is to crate a stress free environment that will continue into adolescence and adulthood. Another goal is prevention. We usually see children for their first appointment at age three unless something of concern is observed prior to that. Sealants, education, fluoride, and regular check ups, are an integral part of our prevention program.
